Inspired Nights Launch

As Nuart Aberdeen 2019 draws ever closer we’re excited to announce our Nuart Aberdeen x Inspired Nights launch event!

 

 

After the success of the Inspired Nights last year it seemed fitting to team up over the festival weekend and help kick things off with a bang. But what can you expect from the launch weekend? Taking place over 18th – 21st April, the Inspired Nights will see a host of Aberdeen’s finest eateries, craft brewers and creative’s take up residence on The Green, under the watchful gaze of the stunning Herakut mural created during the inaugural Nuart Aberdeen in 2017.

 

 

We all know that street food is cool and being in Scotland we welcome the chance to enjoy a beer outdoors (we pray for sunshine) but our hand selected artist collectives and makers will help add a little soul to proceedings and with the transformation of The Green in recent years, it will all be taking place in the literal heart of the city. The Green is also home to our favourite spot Cafe 52 who will be serving up a delicious BBQ over the festival weekend, we hear Steve Bothwell might be on grill duties so it’s sure to be a taste sensation.

The Green itself is a creative street art nerve centre, with some 70 individual artworks including numerous pieces, big and small, by Nuart Aberdeen artists Jaune, Herakut & Isaac Cordal along with a host of works by Painted Doors Aberdeen artists and even more local street art pieces. You’ll be able to take it all while enjoying some laid back beats to boot, music, food and art, what more can you ask for!
